Best Game Of Thrones Fan Theories By

There is no doubt that Game of Thrones gave us eight years of roller coaster of emotions - contemplation, hatred, angst, satisfaction, a stronger sense of hatred, another hit of satisfaction, then a much stronger hit of hatred, and questions. A lot of questions. Oh, and let us not forget the seemingly depressive disappointment for every theory we have that does not follow through. A fair warning, if you have not watched Game of Thrones and you are the kind that sets off wars because of spoilers, this article is not for you.Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyesThe Battle of Winterfell gave us goosebumps, made us cry, and like we have said, more questions. One of which revolves around Arya specifically, where did she come from? How? Again, if you hate spoilers, you need to stop reading now. We can all agree that Aryas journey is greater than the actual game of thrones, because while everybody else was busy with determining who deserves the throne, Arya was busy piling up names on her hit list mostly, names of those who aggravated her family. Arya first met the red witch, Melisandre, in the third season where the latter uttered a prophecy: I see a darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me: brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes you will shut forever. When they met again, we all know that Arya really did shut a lot of eyes, and recall that she destroyed House Frey - alone. Her character developed into a fierce woman who does not need a man on her side to stand and create her own name, and you can probably write a full essay on Feminism focusing on this heroine. She really did wore that crown when she plunged into the Night King from thin air with that little dagger on her hand. So, brown eyes a lot, blue eyes the Night King. What about the green eyes?Half the avid fans of Game of Thrones assumed that it was Cersei who Arya will kill, the other half argues that it is Daenerys. This is the part where the questions just exploded because Jon turned out to be Daenerys murderer and then rocks falling from the ceiling killed Cersei.Whose green eyes will Arya Stark shut forever? The Azor AhaiGame of Thrones also provided us a lot of concepts to analyze (an analytical essay on Game of Thrones, anyone?), leaving us without any definite answer. If you made it to the second item, that means you have watched Game of Thrones, and if that is the case, let me ask you a question. Who did you think is the prince that was promised? The Azor Ahai is a prophecy that is deeply rooted to one of the known religions in all Seven Kingdoms, the Rhllor, Lord of Light. It was believed that the Azor Ahai fought the darkness once with a weapon known as Lightbringer, a sword that was made by the Azor Ahai himself sacrificing the life of his own wife, tying the sword to her soul by stabbing it directly to her beating heart. The Azor Ahai then with this sword put an end to the darkness over five thousand years before the timeline we are all made aware of, and that this Promised Prince shall be reborn to once again end the darkness brought by the Night King. However, is the Promised Prince reborn as no prince, but a woman? Is it Arya? Is it Daenerys? Is it Jaime? Is it Jons sweet best friend, Sam? What is it with being born of salt and smoke? What is it with waking dragons? Is it even real or is Melisandre just trying to manipulate every possible leader she meets?Ned Stark is aliveEddard Stark, the Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North, and Hand of the King (at least, for a little while) did not make it past the first season, because the then King Joffrey I Baratheon decided to have his head off, regardless of the bargain he had with Sansa Stark (yes, it probably is Sean Beans curse). Fast forward to when Arya kicked off her journey with The Hound, she met Jaqen Hghar of the Faceless Men, questions then emerged - yes, we really do have a lot of questions with this prominent series. Why is he there? He is of the Faceless Men, how was he caught? Did he get himself caught in purpose for Arya? Did he come from Kings Landing too?And the most important question of all, was it someone elses head that Joffrey had Sansa to look at closely? Well, we all hoped. The ValonqarA young Cersei Lannister was wandering through the woods of Casterly Rock when a fortuneteller-slash-witch told her that a younger brother will end her life, and that she shall be hailed as Queen, but will be replaced by someone much younger and more beautiful than her. All her life, she believed it will be Tyrion because their mother died of giving birth to Tyrion, and the latter shot an arrow to Tywin Lannisters heart, their father. Some strongly believed that it will be Jaime considering Jamie Lannisters drastic character development from the first season to, well, up until he broke Briennes heart. George R. R. Martin gave the public a gruesome comment on the Valonqar prophecy to Cersei, that when your tears have drowned you, the Valonqar shall wrap h is hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you. We know that in the game of thrones, either you win or you die, hence, we all have our own bets, so, just imagine the frustration we all experienced because of this expectation. Technically, neither Tyrion nor Jaime killed Cersei.Cersei Lannister was killed by a bunch of falling debris.Tyrion is a TargaryenOkay, so, the Mad King Aerys Targaryen was obsessed with Tywin Lannisters wife, Joanna, right? This is Game of Thrones, so we can all agree that we have been exposed to a lot of unorthodox romantic relationships, hence, it is possible that Aerys had a connection with Joanna, and it does not really matter if it was mutual or not, but this connection perhaps produced Tyrion. Tywin Lannister died in Tyrions hands and his last words to his youngest son was you are no son of mine, maybe it was true since he was willing to have his son executed anyway for a crime that even Tyrion did not see happening. After a lot of tra velling and battles, Tyrion found his way to Daenerys who then made him Hand of the Queen. The second episode of the sixth season strengthened this theory further, because this is where Tyrion had an interaction with Daeneryss dragons, and considering that the dragons were not eating that time, it is a surprise that they did not swallow the little man whole. This gives us only three people who have interacted with these dragons Daenerys, Jon Snow, and Tyrion. The other two are Targaryens, that we are sure of. The first one we knew since the first time we saw her, and the second one we knew later on.What about Tyrion? The last of Starks will battle the dead StarksNight King reanimates a dead human and a dead dragon for an army, and he is ruthless. Certainly, we will not be surprised if he decided to raise the dead Starks from the crypts, say, Arya or Sansa reuniting with their mother and brothers, except Catelyn, Robb, and Rickon are simply not the Catelyn, Robb, and Rickon they would love to embrace anymore. Come to think of it, Arya seem to have grown invincible and Sansa transformed into a strong lady. Facing their loved ones turn into something else and letting them see those empty blue eyes in their once smiling faces could be the greatest pain that the Night King can inflict to the last of Starks. These are only a few of the many theories that hold their strengths well.
